Wait, hold on. Let me check my connections, we're experiencing technical difficulties. How about now...can you hear me now?
In a completely random stroke of drinky circumstances, I started writing some notes for a PL blogpost. It was weird. It felt good. It also felt awkward, but I forgot how much I enjoyed writing.
I might make it into a real post but just wanted to see if any of you crazy cats and kittens are still out there...

Tacoma Craft Beer Fest - Are you ready?
A pictorial recap of...
Tacoma Craft Beer Fest
Tacoma Craft Beer Fest
2011
They came in long buses, taxis and cars.
They came from their homes, the shopping mall, bars!
They came alone and in groups, to have a wee taste.
They came in great haste; all to taste, taste, taste, TASTE!
For TCBF offered the loveliest of times!
Afterall, it inspired MGD to bust out some rhymes.

PL Disclaimer: Pictorial commentary below provided by the Real MGD...
Seven Seas brought their Rude Parrot once again, often seen at TCBF garnished with a hop flower! Mike also brought temp tats, which you know the PL can't resist.
As you can tell from the photos, the weather was superb. If Sean Jackson's (Engine House #9) smile is a factor, it'll be sunny and warm again this year.
TRH's Chris Miller seemed to be having a grand time also!
The PL always seems to end up sailing the Schooner Exact, hmmm...
TCBF Co-organizer Roxi and the PL make a Kenny Zee Beerman sammy
The Park Way Tavern plied their wares (and more temporary tats!) as an event sponsor |
Beer Bloggers Union meeting, with guest speaker Mike Runion |
With plenty of grass to sit on and space to cavort, the location was a big improvement over 2010. TCBF 2012 is in the same location |
The day ended too soon for most festival-goers, most likely due to an underestimation of Tacoma's ability to drink lots of craft beer! |
But the party continued for Colin and other hard core hopheads at our home-away-from-home! |
You can see with your eyes,
all the fun had last year.
From beginning to end,
folks were full of good cheer!
Won't you join us again
for some fun, sun and beer?
Beer, beer, beer, BEER!
Round 4 of the Tacoma Craft Beer Festival will surely not disappoint so ya best come on down and join the festivities!

Happy 5th Anniversary to World Beers of Tacoma!
Happiest of Anniversaries to one of my favorite places in Tacoma: World Beers of Tacoma. They've been selling an eclectic mix of brews for 5 years now and their happy little shop has gone through many changes in the short time that I've known and loved them.
During the last year they went full into the beery goodness by putting the cigar portion of their operation in a different facility, installed several taps so they could start serving pints and filling growlers, host weekly tasting nights, and now there is even a beer garden! Oh and there is pinball. It's basically went from being great to holy effing magical.
They've put together a beer lineup for their 5th Anniversary that would be sure to give anyone some relevant wood. (Don't be sick, click on the link to see the correlation.) Hope to see all of Tacoma come out to join in on the festivities this weekend! Bring growlers. Come early. Stay late.
Friday July 13th – Pike Brewing Tasting Night kicks it off at 5:00 with great beers and prizes galore.
Saturday July 14th – This is the day you don’t want to miss. Free Food, Live Music, More prizes and giveaways, a Beer Trivia Contest, Beer Floats, and a taplist that includes Two Beers Brewing, Schooner Exact, Sierra Nevada, Stone, Double Mountain, Boneyard, Southern Tier and Deschutes.
Sunday July 15th - Probably worth stopping by to see what the masses didn't fully demolish with their mouth holes, just sayin'.
