The flight crews at Kent's Airways Brewing and Tacoma's Wingman Brewers joined forces recently to make a collaboration beer. Airways Brewing & Wingman Brewers Release Collaboration Beer

What: Airways Brewing, at its Downtown Kent Beer & Bistro, taps the first keg of the collaborative beer between it and Wingman Brewers of Tacoma. The beer – a Chocolate Rye Ale with Caraway – was brewed on the Wingman one-barrel system. Brewers Alex Dittmar of Airways and Ken Thoburn of Wingman, worked together to formulate the recipe.
In addition to the collaborative beer, the Bistro will feature Wingman’s Stratofortress – a Belgian Strong Ale aged on Cedar – in its tap lineup for the night.
