A few things to do this weekend...

We’re coming up on the tail end of August and while it’s almost starting to finally feel like Summer, most of us are getting geared up for Fall. In case either of those things cause you to experience serious depression, here are a few things to do this week that should take your mind off of things.

Thursday, August 20th 

• Iron Brewer Matchup at Beveridge Place Pub (Seattle) from 7-10p. Fremont & Elliot Bay will both be offering beer made with Blueberries & Cinnamon. YOU decide the winner!

Friday 19^th thru Sunday 21^st 

• Beer Bloggers Conference in Portland, OR. I’ve decided not to attend for many a reason (insert sad face) but it sounds like a great time will be had. Beer, food, tours & lotsa blog talk… could it be any better? Both beer bloggers and ‘normal’ people can attend this weekend long event, check out their website for more information.

Friday, August 19^th 

• Give a Pint, Get a Pint. Cascade Regional Blood Services will be at Mama Stortini’s Restaurant (Puyallup) from 11a-2p. Taking your blood and giving you beer coupons for it. Do a good thing!
• Wingman Brewing beer hits the Pastiche Wine Bar's taps this evening. Come enjoy a P-51 Porter and Pin-up Pale from 6p-Close.

Saturday, August 20^th

• Wingman Brewers beer will be featured at Northern Pacific Coffee Company, 208 Garfield & Marzano during the Garfield Street Fair in Parkland from 10a-6p. 
• Wingman Brewers Session Ale and P-51 Porter will be served in the beer tent at the Downtown Tacoma Block Party on Opera Alley. There is a ton going on at the block party that day, festivities happening from 5-10p.
• Wingman Brewers Night (sensing a theme here?) at Metronome Cafe in Tacoma. You can enjoy a Pin-up Pale, Bourbon Porter & Session Ale from 6p-Close.

So after all of that... go ahead and take Sunday off.

Saturday and Sunday shall be full of hoppy goodness for boys and girls alike.
