Happy 5th Anniversary to World Beers of Tacoma!

Happiest of Anniversaries to one of my favorite places in Tacoma: World Beers of Tacoma. They've been selling an eclectic mix of brews for 5 years now and their happy little shop has gone through many changes in the short time that I've known and loved them.

During the last year they went full into the beery goodness by putting the cigar portion of their operation in a different facility, installed several taps so they could start serving pints and filling growlers, host weekly tasting nights, and now there is even a beer garden! Oh and there is pinball. It's basically went from being great to holy effing magical.

They've put together a beer lineup for their 5th Anniversary that would be sure to give anyone some relevant wood. (Don't be sick, click on the link to see the correlation.) Hope to see all of Tacoma come out to join in on the festivities this weekend!  Bring growlers. Come early. Stay late.

Friday July 13th – Pike Brewing Tasting Night kicks it off at 5:00 with great beers and prizes galore.

Saturday July 14th – This is the day you don’t want to miss. Free Food, Live Music, More prizes and giveaways, a Beer Trivia Contest, Beer Floats, and a taplist that includes Two Beers Brewing, Schooner Exact, Sierra Nevada, Stone, Double Mountain, Boneyard, Southern Tier and Deschutes.

Sunday July 15th - Probably worth stopping by to see what the masses didn't fully demolish with their mouth holes, just sayin'.

Cheers to World Beers!

  1. Oh yes, another beerblogger who has no idea what she is talking about.

  2. World Beers is way under-rated as a craft beer bottle shop - most Tacomanites have no idea where they are or what they're doing. Only caught the tail end of their anniversary party, but have been stopping by more often to sip, shop and enjoy the new beer garden. Tacoma residents must bypass Bev Mo and Total Wine (who don't properly handle the vast majority of their craft beer stock) and give their custom to the local-owned shops that care about beer lovers!
